L/C Magnetics can build custom designed transformers for solar panels, also known as solar transformers, which are specialized transformers designed for photovoltaic systems. These transformers can adjust voltage levels by typically stepping up low-voltage inverter output to match solar grid requirements and provide galvanic isolation. Unlike conventional transformers, solar transformers are built to handle high harmonic content from inverters and support bidirectional power flow in battery storage integrated systems and so on. If needed, we can also provide our customers with outdoor enclosure for weather resistance.
