CLOSED DELTA TO OPEN DELTA TRANSFORMER 5.2 KVA, P/N 19486

The Closed Delta to Open Delta Transformer 5.2 KVA is a three-phase transformer configuration where a closed delta (Δ-Δ) primary winding is connected to an open delta (V-V) secondary winding. This arrangement is used in situations where a three-phase load needs to be supplied using only two transformer windings instead of three, typically for cost savings or to maintain partial operation in case of a failed phase. Additionally, as an isolation transformer, it provides electrical separation between the primary and secondary windings. This configuration is commonly used in industrial power distribution, motor applications, and voltage step-down operations where full three-phase power is not required.
