L/C Magnetics has a long history of providing custom built OEM Transformers, or Furnace Transformers, for various OEM Furnace Applications. The voltages and currents required by heating elements are not standard values. Hence, “off the shelf” transformers are not suitable for these types of applications. Multiple taps are necessary, as the heating element resistances change with aging.
