    • Secondary (3, 4): 60000 V RMS, 84 mA, porcelain bushing
    • Unit is designed to accept 350 V RMS and output of 60000 V RMS for short duration. We do not have the capability to test the unit at full 60000 V RMS. Unit is tested at 0.25 V P-P instead of 350 V RMS at 5 KHz and 50 KHz on the primary side.

The 60000 V secondary consists of 20 windings of 3000 V in series.

 

 

The schematic diagram is shown below. Primary is one winding, secondary is 20 windings in series.

 

 

Test results:

    • R (primary) = 81.7 milliohms
    • LS (Primary) = 443 uH, Q = 37
    • R (secondary) = 244.5 Ohms
    • LS (secondary) = 12 H, Q = 76
    • At 50 KHz, Input voltage = 0.25 V P-P, output voltage = 10 V P-P approx.
    • At 5 KHz, Input voltage = 0.25 V P-P, output voltage = 120 V P-P approx.
