This dual-coil, common ferrite core transformer (P/N 10117L) is a high-power, high-frequency magnetic component rated at 100 kVA, single-phase, and designed for operation at 20 kHz, making it well suited for demanding industrial power-conversion and inverter-based systems. It incorporates two primary windings and two secondary windings wound on the same ferrite core, providing tight magnetic coupling, reduced leakage inductance, and efficient energy transfer at elevated switching frequencies. Each primary winding is rated for 800 VAC at 62.5 A, while each secondary winding is rated for 500 VAC at 100 A, allowing the windings to be configured in series or parallel to match a wide range of voltage, current, and power requirements.The ferrite core construction significantly reduces core losses at high frequency compared to traditional laminated steel cores, enabling higher efficiency, lower heat generation, and a more compact overall design.
