HIGH CURRENT 4 KVA TRANSFORMER

Specifications:

• Transformer: 4 KVA, 1 PH, 60 Hz, P/N 10311L
• Primary: 480 VAC, 4 Amps, (1, 2)
• Secondary: 3 VAC, 1250 Amps, (3, 4)
• Copper Windings
• Open Core & Coil, 9” H x 9” W x 20” D
• Output Copper Bus Bars are 4” H x 4” W x 3/8” D with one hole
• Three 1 PH transformers, P/N 10311L, will be required to build one 3 PH Delta transformer and perform temperature rise tests at 1250 Amps.
• A 12 KVA, 3 PH Variac will be inserted before the Primary of the transformers, so that 0 to 3 VAC adjustment at 1250 Amps Maximum is available.

The schematic diagram of the 1 PH transformer, P/N 10311L, is shown below.

Three 1 PH transformers, P/N 10311L, designated as A, B, and C are wired together by the customer as a 3 PH Delta transformer. The outputs shall be three independent, 1 PH outputs, as shown below. A 3 PH variac can be used on the 480 VAC side to adjust the 3 VAC output.
