TRANSFORMER 250 VA, 1 PH, 25 KHz

The 250 VA 25 kHz transformer, P/N 10235L1B, is a custom single-phase, high-frequency transformer for square-wave power conversion applications. It provides a nominal 1:4 voltage transformation ratio. Therefore, it converts a 100 V peak-to-peak primary input into a 400 V peak-to-peak secondary output.

The transformer uses an ETD 59/31/22 ferrite core made from 3C97 material. In addition, the design includes an E + E core pair and a 24-pin bobbin. The bobbin supports the windings mechanically; however, it does not provide the electrical connections. Instead, flexible lead wires connect directly to the primary and secondary windings.
